Mykines Island belongs to the Faroe Islands located in the northern part of the Atlantic Ocean on the Gulf Stream route. It is roughly halfway between Norway and Iceland.

There are 17 inhabited islands, but depopulation is becoming a problem for the region. In the past, new settlers were attracted by relatively good conditions for growing potatoes and rhubarb. Of course, rhubarb is a plant that is not very popular in the world, and on the islands it had and has one basic application - it is used to make moonshine known all over the islands.

Of course, there are many varieties of sheep on the island. They are very different from the ones I know from Europe. But they are nice.

Oczywiście na wyspie nie brakuje wielu odmian owiec. Różnią się one znacznie od tych, które znam z Europy. Ale są sympatyczne.
