Tricholomopsis rutilans - Has a hat up to 100 mm in diameter. In youth it is convex, later becomes arcuate, flat, concave in the center, sometimes with a small hump. Golden yellow, yellow-orange, red-orange in color, covered with delicate scales.
Gills are yellow, yellow-orange, dense, serrated, slightly dull. Leg up to 80 mm high, up to 12 mm thick, cylindrical, curved, hollow, fibrous in the center. The color of the upper leg is usually white, with time turning yellow. The flesh is thin, quite springy. In white and yellow. The taste is slightly bitter, the aroma is mild, mushroom.
Occurrence: In coniferous and mixed forests, on rotting trunks, fallen branches of conifers, often in mountainous regions. It grows singly or in groups, clumps. You can meet him from July to October.
Value: edible mushroom, but has no special culinary value. Used as an additive to other mushrooms.
