The primary purpose of the Supernode is to collect, verify, process various transactions and keep system powerful and fast, while ensuring that it maintains efficiency and optimum performance.
Recently, Berlin-based MXC Foundation, with the mission is to inspire fast, efficient, decentralised data exchanges using LPWAN and Blockchain technology has come out with MXC Supernode Program.
MXC supernodes will be responsible for ensuring the “The MXC data network” remains intact, active, secure and a vibrant place for stakers, traders and data sellers. Apart from that MXC Supernodes will have a central role in the MXC Data Network . An MXC supernode is a platform that operates using the MXProtocol to network between like-minded peers, thus bringing them all together using the same shared MXProtocol consensus.
Unlike other Supernodes program which sets a high barrier entry, MXC has set itself apart with a very simple and low barrier entry. All you need to become a MXC Supernode is
-A Dual-core server
- 4GB RAM
-20GB Storage, able to send 1000GB per month

So now the question is, Why should I join?
Apart from being the first one to be updated with the latest MXC news and having voting rights for MXC Developments, you will also receive 70% of the Supernodes profit. The remaining 30% will be divided in the following manner:
-10% returned to staking participants
-10% returned to MXC Foundation
-10% Token burn

Step 1: Fill in the Online Form

Step 2: Initial Review and Shortlisting for Voting
Running a supernode has a lot of benefits, but it also holds a lot of responsibility. After the initial screening, each successful applicant will need to run their supernode for a minimum of one year so that the community have the chance to evaluate the node performance
Step 3: Community Voting
Initially, MXC will roll out 21 supernodes globally. MXC holders choose all MXC Supernodes during a public vote (Yup, Say hi to Democracy). Supernodes will be selected based on their reliability, their ability to carry out the data network coverage tasks, their brand awareness and ability to attract more users to their individual supernode. These are a few items voters will likely consider when choosing their preferred supernode.
