Dudes and dudettes! It’s time to take The Game to another level! (If you don’t know what The Game is, refer to the very first post in this blog). I’ve introduced myself a little bit in my previous articles via humor, sarcasm, and wit, and I think the time for introductions has come to a necessary stop. Or has it…?
The Scholar Within
Sort of catchy, right? Anyway, this is the first part to the two-part system that flows through my neurons and is dedicated to dictating 9 out of every 10 decisions I make in any given moment. There is a deeply rooted, uncontrollable obsession within me to learn. From observing, to conducting research, forming hypotheses and theories and performing experiments to prove those theories right; better yet, to prove them wrong. Socially, physically, financially, emotionally, across every aspect of what is my life, The Scholar Within will always come first. The analyst. The mathematician. The scientist. Both the student, and the teacher.
Unfortunately, the scholastic part of me swings and misses a lot. Like, a lot…
The Gentlemen’s list
Yes, plural usage of the word is indeed intended here. “The Gentlemen” is a list of a group of men from all different walks of life, my life specifically, that I have admired and looked up to for the entirety of my existence.
Allow me to elaborate. I’m allegedly related to Benjamin Franklin somewhere down the line, and the very day I found this out, my entire life changed. I’m not talking about some fancy scholarship somewhere, or some far-fetched inheritance or something like that. I’m speaking about my mindset specifically. Knowing there is a possibility I have DNA somehow, somewhere coursing through my veins that explains the above-average IQ. I’m not better than you, just smarter… maybe.
All jokes aside, I started The Gentlemen’s list with Ben Franklin. Next came Einstein, Elon Musk, Joe Rogan, Allan Watts, Gary V., Kevin Hart. Hell, even my mom’s ex-boyfriend made the cut at one point in time. This list is forever expanding as I learn more and more information, and there are an abundance of names that have inflated the roster. Growing up with a semi-distant father figure allowed me to distinguish the difference between what makes a good man, and what makes a Gentleman. Gentlemen will forever be at the “top tier” of society, in my own personal opinion. Successful, authentic, self-aware, compassionate, driven, well-rounded men.
Learning about crypto and the limitless amount of possibilities associated with it… it’s extraordinary. I think that The Scholar Within and The Gentlemen’s List are the most effective tools I have at my disposal for surviving, but even more importantly thriving within such a task. But without one, the other wouldn’t succeed. Live authentically, do right by people, learn, study all you can, and take as many important-to-you people as possible on this road to success with you. That’s the goal here, people. From zero to hero. How many of you share that goal? Maybe a similar one? I’d love to hear/converse all about it!
