It is not a secret that I don't like XRP, or Ethereum. And I have said as much in past posts.
I wasn't even going to write about it because I felt that doing so would look like I was just using this platform once again to hate on it, but not this time..
No, I haven't changed my stance on XRP. I still believe that it is too centralized for my taste, and it may even be used in the future by the elite as the fiat system crashes.
What I am concerned with, is how people are treating it now that the judge has made her ruling.
The price has gone up, and more transactions than before.
Exchanges that had delisted it, are now listing it again.
It reminds me of a child having a temper tantrum.
See, the child is happy playing with a toy until someone makes a rule on how the child can PLAY with that toy.
Later, the child will see that toy as something not really worth playing with because there are now rules attached.
Later, the rules are lifted, and the child is free to play with the toy however they want. So now the child is as happy as before, and plays with the toy again.
I think you see my point, and if this is how we are going to see crypto, and this space, then it's just a game, and when someone outside puts pressure on it, we get angry, crumble, and walk away.
I have been plenty harsh on many crypto users in the past for even allowing these gov officials to dictate OUR space.
Where was the XRP army when 3 years ago the SEC first sued Ripple Labs? Why weren't exchanges doing business as usual to support the coin?
Why didn't the 3 guys who run Ripple Labs simply ignore the SEC, and tell them to take a hike, and do business as usual?
As I said before, who are these people to us?
They are the enemy! They've attacked us, sabotaged us, and killed our platforms.
For anyone who sees this as a WIN for crypto, this is far from over, and a partial win for them is the foot in the door they need to own us and OUR space.
This is NOT a win for crypto, this is a huge slap in the face by those in charge who want total control.
They will do anything they can, and use any resources they can, to DESTROY this space.
We, as a whole, need to wake up to this reality and keep our space decentralized and free.
We cannot afford the waste any more time on the dying system. That is THEIR realm, and their failure, and getting out of it will help your future...
