So it's come again, this time of year, when all the fakers are out in force, trying their fake platitudes and misconceptions of our trading. They've had this amazing idea and they've had this amazing campaign idea that makes money on the forex market but it doesn't. It's pie in the sky because there are these lovely tools called playback. As they say, hindsight is 20/20.
With the benefit of hindsight it's very easy to take Trading View, for example, and just look back a few weeks and find out there looks like it could be a setup. Let's see if it fits. Yes backtesting is a thing. Is it effective? I'm going to go with no. Past experience has told me otherwise so I don't believe in backtesting at all. It has actually shown me that the results speak for themselves and you only get the results by going forward not going back.

Well sometimes these people can make very good entertainment. If you enjoy the entertainment value on some of the channels and the way they try to convince you, "Hey, buy, join up with this broker or buy this product," that's genuine. Okay there's something up here. A lot of them will try and say, "Hey, buy my course." That's really frustrating. They're taking something where people actually generally want good information and giving them lies just so they can make a buck and they wonder why that eventually always comes back to bite them in the ass.
