They always like to play with such names. Many interesting things were told. Some of the product features described have already been available on Android devices for a while. I don't think that aspect is very exciting, but in two respects, Apple's approach to artificial intelligence is the most advanced we have seen so far. In fact, one of them is that it is directly integrated into the operating system. Secondly, it is a great personalization, and on top of that, a somewhat controversial security issue is added. Remember, I am an Apple and Nvidia investor. So I may not be very impartial. Secondly, I do not have such authority, but I found what Apple said very interesting and I think it is worth thinking about. What the future will look like even if you're not an investor. How the device you hold in your hand will change your life. More importantly, I will try to explain how all this will become an even more important part of your life.

One of the areas where Apple artificial intelligence is useful is writing. For example, when writing an e-mail, you can determine its tone. Should it be friendlier or more professional? It can check what you have written for grammar and spelling compliance, or if you have written a long e-mail or have received a long e-mail, it can summarize it. Of course, Apple's artificial intelligence also appealed to emoji lovers. You can design your own emoji. Whether you think of a surfing dinosaur or a DJ squirrel. Another nice feature is that you can go to your photo studio and turn someone you know into an emoji and turn that emoji into the character you want.

Of course, Apple's artificial intelligence also helps you with visual design. You can create your own visuals by typing orders. These can be illustrations, animations, sketches, and you can shape them in a place called the playground and use them wherever you want. Apple has an advantage in visual creation. It recognizes people in your photo album. In this way, for example, it is possible to draw your mother as a superhero. Another feature of Apple Intelligence that I like is that you can circle a sketch and turn it into a magnificent visual with your Apple pencil. There, the artificial intelligence both sees that sketch and reads the text there, and from there it can create a unique visual for you. One of the topics I was most curious about in the presentation was what the changes would be in Siri. Because you remember, we were fascinated by the presentation of Open AI. A lady with a voice similar to Scarlet Johansson fascinated us. Siri doesn't seem that fascinating, but it is really much improved compared to the old Siri. First of all, the ability to understand natural language has improved here. Because in the background, this also uses a large language model. Even if you say something a little wrong, you can correct it and now you can ask Siri questions not only by voice but also by text. It has made serious progress in turning into a complete personal assistant.

The feature I will mention now is, in my opinion, the most important issue that distinguishes Apple's artificial intelligence from its competitors. Personal Context recognizes you, for example, if your mother is coming on a plane trip, when you ask Siri what time she is arriving, it understands that she is your mother. He finds out what time the flight is by looking at the last correspondence with your mother. It can even go and make the necessary checks, know if the flight is delayed, calculate how long it will take you to get to the airport and sound an alarm for you. If you haven't made a plan with your mother in the evening, she guides you in that regard. This Personal Context issue is the most superior aspect in my opinion and no competitor can really come here. Because, as you know, models like Chat GPT look at general data. Here, there is a personal artificial intelligence that works with information completely specific to you. This personalization has other advantages, too. For example, it can prioritize the messages you receive, depending on who they are from. Because he knows who the boss is, he knows who the lady is, or he knows your photos. He understands that it is your child in the photo. For example, put together the images of my son fishing in his red suit last year. When you ask him to produce a movie for me, he can produce a movie for you. Here we see the great advantages of this personalized artificial intelligence.

"AI For The Rest Of Us" In fact, Apple, as always, is trying to be a pioneer in bringing technology to a wider audience. Because nothing we watched in the presentation was very pioneering. We've seen similar AIs before. There is already a lot of effective artificial intelligence, especially in matters such as visual creation, text editing, translation, etc. But Apple says that you do not need to use separate applications or learn artificial intelligence for these. I embedded this into the operating system. Therefore, these will work naturally in all the applications you use. This is the first big difference and the fact that it is embedded in this operating system already makes customization possible. Here, Apple offers a whole solution that understands you, fully integrates your context into your life, and since it does this at the operating system level, it flows naturally, leaving no need for a new application or a new artificial intelligence. I find this extremely impressive and don't forget

Apple has over 1 billion mobile phones and around 2.2 billion devices in the world. That's why it will turn into a great artificial intelligence distribution machine. In other words, a lot of people who had never accessed artificial intelligence before, did not use it, did not see it as meaningful, suddenly realized how many things it could practically solve in their lives and provide entertainment. As I just mentioned, you can create your own emojis and images. It can increase your efficiency by choosing the most important message among the messages you receive, replying to it automatically, increasing your quality, making the text you write better, expressing it in different ways, making summaries, and on the other hand, it shows you easier ways to express yourself thanks to this personalization. We are faced with an artificial intelligence. But it doesn't end there.

For example, in most of the artificial intelligence applications such as chat gpt until now, we were searching for information or having something produced. Here, action can be taken. For example, there is a podcast your spouse sent you. You remember that podcast, but you don't remember where he sent it or how he shared it. You are asking Siri, there was a Podcast about this subject that my wife sent me. You can say please find it and play it. In this way, we are actually heading towards a place where, for the first time, artificial intelligence turns into action and our lives are simplified. Apple will definitely launch artificial intelligence applications in the coming period. For example, you will be able to place your food order via Siri. You can plan a complex travel organization there or if you are looking for a meeting note and cannot find it, it will find it, summarize it and bring it to you. So, you no longer have an artificial intelligence that only accesses information or produces information for you. There is also an action AI that is starting to participate directly in your daily life. These features will definitely be strengthened in the coming days. Apple gave us preliminary signs of these.

The other most feared issue regarding artificial intelligence is how to ensure the security of personal data or a corporate data set. Because in all existing artificial intelligence applications, when you give an order to artificial intelligence, it goes to the cloud, that is, the internet, and transactions are carried out there. Apple has introduced a three-stage approach here, and although it is not perfect, I think personal security is stronger here than many other artificial intelligence solutions. That's how it should be, by the way. Because there is nowhere else as much personal data as the personal data in a mobile phone. I'm just giving my guess. My cell phone knows me better than my wife. In this framework, there is a three-dimensional approach. When you give an order to Apple's artificial intelligence, for example, when you give a verbal command via Siri, it first asks if it can be solved on the phone.

Apple phones have very strong silicon chips. Especially in the new versions and it seems to solve many simple artificial intelligence issues here. If it can't handle it here, Apple is going to the cloud. Apple's own proprietary microchips run in the Apple cloud. Apple uses Apple silicones, not Nvidia's, here and there it says Apple, I created a private cloud, that is, a private, secret closed cloud. This is a controversial issue, of course, because once something is on the Internet, it can be hacked, etc. But Apple says this will be your private space. You can control this however you want. The software here definitely does not leak data anywhere else. It does not record this data here. It just lets you do your job. Then, that data disappears from there and independent software can check it, he says. How much we will trust, how much we will believe, can of course always be a matter of debate. But I still think that Apple is one of the best in terms of security, despite some mistakes.

But there is a third dimension. That's where things get a little confusing. Apple says that it will open access to artificial intelligence other than my own. Chat gpt will be the first example of this. So, when you ask something from Apple's artificial intelligence, it will first try to solve it within the phone. Then there is no security problem anyway. Then Apple will try to solve it in the cloud. We trust that security issues are relatively under control. But if it is not resolved there and if you allow it, the door will be opened directly to Chat GPT. Here, of course, the issue of security comes to the fore.

Elon Musk said that if there is direct integration to Chat GPT within Apple's operating system, I will not allow Apple phones into Tesla facilities. This is a big security problem. I'm not so sure. Because we already have artificial intelligence applications on our mobile phones. I've been using Chat GPT for a while now. Here, I do not fully understand whether Chat GPT is directly integrated into the operating system or whether it only connects and receives limited information when the user specifically opens it. But I think Apple has probably resolved the security issue here, and I think this actually makes Apple stronger. Because Chat gpt is currently the largest language model and taking advantage of the powerful features of that language model actually makes Apple devices more powerful. But as I said, this is a controversial point.

What impact will all this have on the AI ​​industry? The artificial intelligence industry will grow. Because billions of people who have never used artificial intelligence before or who used Chat gpt once and then stopped will see artificial intelligence as a part of their daily lives. This won't happen immediately. Of course, not every Apple device is suitable for this. For example, it says that cloud will be available on mobile phones over Pro 15 Max. In other words, certain microchip capacities are needed in the upcoming devices, including laptops, desktops and iPads. M series chips or a17 pro are needed. So this will not happen on every device. Plus, not all of the features currently shown come into our lives immediately. They will come gradually, starting from autumn. And on top of that, don't forget that the conference we are watching is a developers conference. In other words, here independent application developers are shown what can be done and doors are opened for them. APIs are opening and I'm sure many independent artificial intelligence developers have already started working on how I can integrate with Apple's system and how I can develop unique applications for it. We will see the first examples soon.

So what does all this mean for the company? In fact, it paves the way for a new growth cycle. Because in the end, Apple is still a company that sells devices and makes money. For a long time, we could not put forward much of a reason for renewing iPhones, and we know that there is a large inventory of iPhones in the world that have not been renewed and are over 4-5 years old. It gives a clear reason. Now you will say that I am not interested in artificial intelligence. It won't work that way. When the friend next to you can do something with artificial intelligence, you will emulate him when you cannot do it. That's why I think there will be a serious sales increase, especially in the higher model devices, iPhone 15 Pro Max and the new iPhone 16s. We know that the sales of iPad Pros, which are compatible with artificial intelligence, are currently increasing rapidly.

This will bring a new growth momentum to Apple, if not very rapid immediately, but spreading over the next few years. As you know, Apple's biggest problem is that iPhone sales are not growing, they are saturated. Because the mobile phone market is already saturated, everyone has a mobile phone now. There is also serious competitive pressure, especially from China. Here, Apple could not offer its users a new excuse to change the device. I think an important excuse is being presented here. For this reason, I think that Apple's iPhone sales, which are still its flagship, have entered a strong increase cycle, especially in the higher models. Secondly, these software developers will develop applications. Apple will also make money from those applications. Apple's fastest growing turnover item in recent times is services, and we will see a significant increase in turnover in the services item.

Thirdly, there were some pretty good things about Siri here, especially if developments in Siri continue, it will become a personal assistant and will probably also make money privately from applications integrated into Siri. For example, if Siri connects directly to the food ordering program when you say "order me food", the food ordering program will be ready to pay a little more commission. For this reason, I think Apple will regain its growth momentum in the coming years. I think that the artificial intelligence integration presented at the conference is amazing, and I believe that they are just at the beginning, and that in the coming days, we will encounter artificial intelligence applications that are more entertaining, more joyful, and more involved in daily life, especially with the new software coming from application developers.

All of this will, of course, grow the artificial intelligence industry as a whole. Because these people will be open to other artificial intelligence platforms in the future, Apple says. Apple's own cloud systems require microchips. Stronger microchips in mobile phones, stronger microchips in servers. In fact, a huge new customer base is joining the world of artificial intelligence from here. That's why there are always these criticisms about Apple. It has always come. Apple is not a pioneer at all, look, its competitors are more pioneering.

It was like that in the time of Steve Jobs. Actually, of course you don't remember, after every product Steve Jobs released, it is said that this device was already doing this, this brand was doing this. This is Apple's tactic.
