Hi, how is new year going? I hope it's going great because I have a feeling this year is going to be spectacular. One of my challenges for this year is to dedicate some time to share my progress on a daily basis, as it brings back good memories from when I first started playing Rising Star.
Today I bring you some news. First, I opened 24 packs, so let's take a look at them.
I was very lucky this time because once again I got a new epic card, which also has something special that I will tell you about later. Yesterday new cards were released, so it's normal that these days I'm adding more new cards than usual to my collection. The new cards I got in these packs that I didn't have were Hetty, Clinton, Diamond Mic, Monstar Truck, Dundun, James and Luthien. By the way, I think Luthien's card is very nice with that colour combination👩🎨
As I told you before, the epic card I got in these packs is very special for me because when I checked it I realised that I was the first person to own this card. Only one card had ever been issued and it was the one I had. It is something that has happened to me for the first time and I think it is something important to share with all of you. It made me feel important😄
CHRISTMAS 2021
During the Christmas event you will need the card S27 Christmas Choir in order to complete the Christmas Carolling mission. This card can be obtained in packs or at the market.
You can complete the Christmas Carolling mission as many times as you want. Each mission lasts 30 minutes and gives us a 1/10 chance of getting a letter from a Christmas instrument. That letter can be either S28 Happy Lappy or S29 Ding Dong Mic. We can also get their animated versions if we manage to combine any of the 3 Christmas cards. For this we need to have 10 of the same Christmas cards, for example we can combine 10 S27 Christmas Choir cards to create the same card in its animated version. The Christmas event will be available until the 6th of January.
There are only 4 days left until the end of the Christmas event and in my case I am not going to do any more Christmas quests, as I have the cards I wanted to get, even a card I didn't expect to get like the animated version of the Christmas Choir. This has been my progress in this event.
I completed 21 missions.
I got the 2 christmas instruments by completing the christmas missions🎸
In packs I got 12 Christmas Choir cards, but I blended 10 to create 1 animated Christmas Choir card, so I finally had 2 Christmas Choir cards and 1 animated Christmas Choir card.

Yesterday my position was number 43 in the ranking and I opened 12 packs that will count for my position today in the ranking, so let's see what my position is today👀
I'm still in 43rd position, same as yesterday. Thanks to the fact that I opened 12 packs yesterday I managed to increase my score even though my weekly minutes played dropped to 6180, which I still think it's great to stay above 6000 minutes. Today I opened 24 packs which will count towards my ranking score tomorrow.
My goal for the end of 2021 was to finish above 100th place and I achieved that. Now my goal for July 2022 is to stay in the top 50. I want to see how I'm progressing so I can set new realistic goals to keep achieving💯
FESTIVAL
A new festival started yesterday in South Africa and will run until the 5th of January when it will be held in Pakistan 🗺
Today I was able to get the new card from South Africa which belongs to the ''Rest of the World'' category 🌍
As I always tell you, the best thing to do whenever you can is to try to get your festival wristbands as soon as possible to avoid forgetting them, as happened to me once when I almost forgot a wristband and had to get it on the last day of the festival.
There have been 25 festivals of which I have all 25 wristbands. I am very proud and happy to continue with this goal since the festivals started and not to miss a single week after 25 weeks.
My goal is to get wristbands for all the festivals and so far I'm doing it perfectly.
MISSIONS
I managed to unlock all the areas on the map and now I'm on the last island.
My goal now is to unlock all the missions on this last island. To unlock the first mission I need to reach level 210.
Today I'm at level 206, so I'm still a few days away from unlocking it.
