Czech Republic Central Europe Geographic coordinates veterans museums Kovozoo Staré Město    49°04'23.1"N 17°25'25.6"E   I recently published a post about Kovozoo Staré Město. There were several mentions of other exhibits in this area. So today something about the museum of vintage cars (old cars) there. The very last photo of the post is a little surprise. It refers to public toilets and the password found there. It's worth it   1_6612acc17c1b6_20240406_112138_fixed_universal.jpg   2_6612acc24ac64_20240406_112142_fixed_universal.jpg   3_6612acc2b63ae_20240406_112145_fixed_universal.jpg   4_6612acc33cc9f_20240406_112150_fixed_universal.jpg   5_6612acc3b5d1f_20240406_112202_fixed_universal.jpg   Veterans Museum. More than 50 historic cars and motorcycles are gathered on an area of 1000 m², which will guide you through the fascinating evolution of transport from the end of the 19th century to the 1980s.

A collection full of jewels:

The museum boasts a wide range of exhibits, from legendary vintage cars such as Škoda Popular, Tatra 87, Praga Piccolo, to iconic Jawa, ČZ and Velorex motorcycles. There are also curiosities, such as the Velorex Oskar tricycle, in which the legendary film commissioner Columbo also rode.

Journey through time:

The exhibition is divided into thematic sections that map the individual stages of the development of transport. You can thus immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the first republic, experience the nostalgia of socialist Czechoslovakia and watch how automotive technology improved with each decade.

More than just cars:

The Veterans Museum is not just about the machines on display. The atmosphere is completed by period photos, advertisements and accessories that complete the context of the given time. Visitors can thus get a comprehensive picture of life and travel in the past.

An experience for the whole family:

The Veterans Museum is an ideal destination for a trip with the whole family. Children will be fascinated by the old machines and interactive exhibits, while adults will enjoy nostalgic memories and learn about the history of transport.

The final photo is unique. I had to go to the toilet and the sign that catches your eye when you enter is worth it. It's a little harsh, but that's what it says

I'm a photographer without a studio. Actually! I have the biggest studio possible, it's fields, forests, meadows, cities, just everything that can be captured in a photograph

First, I'd like to write something about me. I call myself a photographer without a studio, but I have the biggest studio in the world. These are forests and meadows, fields, landscapes, towns and villages, their cultural monuments, various events and anniversaries. I'm not much of a copywriter. I'm saying that the photograph itself speaks volumes about the beauty of the place it depicts So I hope you like my photos
