Hello Splinterfans!
Welcome to my entry for the Share your Battle Weekly Challenge! More details about the challenge can be found here.
This week's battle challenge is with dragons! As you know if you have been following my battle challenges, is that I don't play too much of the dragon splinter, despite my maxed-out Djinn Chwala and Naga Assassin. But that could all change when I discover the power of dragons all the time.
Recently I have enjoyed seeing the mighty Void Dragon wreak havoc upon his foes and I would like to harness his great power.

Void Dragon is a legendary monster with some great abilities which are 5 speed, flying ability and magic void from level 1. This makes him pretty powerful to resist attacks. I am currently renting a level 1 of him.

My Team
This is a mid-level mana battle and I have chosen the awesome Quix the Devious as Summoner who is one of the most powerful dragon summoners in my opinion.

Battle

The rules for the battle are:

ROUND 1 - Djinn Chwala vs. Living Lava

The enemy has gone for the fire deck and is with a level 2 summoner against my level 1 summoner. Leading the main thrust of their attack is Living Lava, a strong defender against melee attack and a strong attacker himself.

The cunning plan of my enemy is to try and shatter the shield of my tank which would succeed if it was not for Quix reducing their speed by 1 and for my faster magic attack. Looking very dangerous to me is their sneak attack, I need to pick him off as soon as possible.
ROUND 2 & 3
In round 2 the Living Lava is already finished, followed by Molten Ash Golem in round 3. Can the enemy rebound from this?
The enemy has clearly miscalculated and my dragons are tearing them apart.
ROUND 4 & 5
Tenjii Striker is next to fall in round 4 leaving Lava Spider with just 1 health to face off in round 5, it's all over.

Dragons
The thorns of Djinn Chwala combined with the explosive damage was too much for my opponent. Dragons have some unique abilities and can really give you an edge sometimes.
Summary:
When playing the dragon splinter, I prefer to use Quix the Devious as he can counter the ranged attack and slow down your enemy.
Health was a key indicator and therefore I wanted to use the life splinter and chose some monster with health buffs to survive the explosive weaponry.
Thanks for reading.
