Ingredients

Half a kilo of broad beans
3 large onions, cut into slices
3 large tomatoes, peeled and peeled
1 cup olive oil
2 tbsp. oregano
Salt
Pepper

 

Preparation

First, rinse the beans with plenty of water and soak them in a bowl with plenty of cold water for at least 12 hours.

We take them out and remove as many skins as we can (it is not necessary for everything to come out).

Then put them in a pot with plenty of water and boil them for half an hour.


Then, empty them into the pan, put the sliced ​​onions, tomatoes, olive oil, oregano, salt and pepper and pour cold water into the pan, until covered.

Cover the pan with a foil and bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 1 hour, with the pan covered.

Then, remove the foil and continue baking for another 15 minutes.

Finally, turn off the oven and leave the beans inside for at least another half hour.
