Good morning my friends, a traditional Greek soup for today that I really love.
The most difficult part for you if you wanna try it is to find Trahana
Anyway let me help you create this

Ingredients

1 cup of trachanas sour
4 cups water
150 grams of diced feta
1/2 cup olive oil
salt
pepper

Preparation

Trachanas is a traditional Greek recipe, ideal for winter and cold. Here we use ready-made sour trachana from the supermarket, although you know that you can also make trachana yourself! Besides, trachanas is a homemade pasta. The following recipe is for 4 people and eat at most in 20 minutes.

Put 4 cups of water in a saucepan and boil it. If you want the soup to be more watery, add another glass.

When the water boils, add the trachana, olive oil and salt and stir constantly so that it does not stick to the bottom of the pot.

Cut the feta into cubes. How much feta you end up with is up to you.

Once the mixture starts to boil, add the feta cheese and stir constantly to make the mixture homogeneous.

We test if we need more salt.

We do not stop stirring.

In 15 minutes, our trachana soup will start to boil.

Take the pot off the heat and the soup with trava feta is ready.

Serve it trahana hot and if you want add pepper and some croutons or diced bread

Good appetite.

Tips

In the villages, instead of olive oil, they put fresh butter. If you have fresh butter, use it and you will remember me!
The more you let the trachana boil, the more it boils. If you prefer crispy watery soup, take it out immediately. If you prefer it thicker, as in the photo, let it boil for 2-3 minutes more, stirring

Stay safe and healthy my friends and take care of your people

My best wishes from Greece
