Good morning my friends, a very lovely and traditional dessert for today . I will show you the way to create this
Ingredients
1 lt water
500 gr. sugar and extra 300 grams
100 ml sunflower oil
240 gr. corn Flour
150 gr. almond kernels
½ κ.γ. cinnamon
¼ κ.γ. Cloves
Olive oil, for sprinkling the pan
Crystal sugar, for serving
Preparation

We start roasting the almonds on low heat so that they do not burn. Once they get colored, turn off the heat, sprinkle with cinnamon and cloves, stir and set aside.

Put the water in a bowl, 500 gr. granulated sugar, corn flour, sunflower oil and stir with a hand whisk until the corn flour is completely dissolved.

Then put a pot on medium heat and with a wooden spoon pour in portions the remaining 300 gr. sugar in the pot. Wait for each portion of sugar to caramelize before adding the next and be careful to stir constantly.

Once all the sugar is caramelized, turn off the heat and pour the mixture from the glass bowl with the water, sugar, flour and sunflower oil into the pot. Add the mixture to the pot in small portions slowly with a deep spoon, stirring constantly.

Turn the heat to medium again and stir constantly until the mixture is completely thickened.

Once it reaches a high temperature, turn off the heat and stir a little more until the mixture is completely set.

Then add the almonds to the mixture and stir.

Grease a 20x20 square pan with olive oil and with a spatula pour the mixture into the pan, spread it evenly and leave it to cool very well.

After the halva cools, sprinkle it on top with granulated sugar, which we burn with a stove to caramelize.

Allow to cool completely, cut and serve.
