Ingredients
For the orange pie:
1 packet of crust sheet
250 ml sunflower oil
250 gr. granulated sugar
150 gr. strained yogurt
100 gr. almond fillet
4 eggs, medium
4 oranges
1 tbsp. vanilla extract
1 kg rose water
1 kg baking powder
1 kg soda

300 gr. granulated sugar
250 ml of water
1 cinnamon stick
Orange juice

Preparation

For the orange pie: Spread the crust sheets on a surface, separately from each other and let them dry very well for about 2 hours. Once dry, crush them, transfer them to a large bowl and set aside.

Take the 2 oranges, pierce their surface with a fork and place a saucepan over medium heat, where we simmer the oranges, which we have pierced for about an hour, until they are completely soft.

Once they are ready, remove them from the pot and leave them to cool. After they cool, we squeeze them with our hands, to get as much moisture as we can and keep the juice aside, to use it later.

Then, add the oranges to the multi and beat them until they become a smooth puree. When it is ready, we leave it aside.

Then, in a large bowl, throw the eggs with the sugar and with a hand whisk, beat them until they turn white. Continuing the beating, add the yogurt, sunflower oil, soda, baking powder, vanilla extract, flower water and finally, the orange puree.

Squeeze the other 2 oranges, pour the juice into the bowl and mix well.

Immediately after, place a small pan on medium to high heat and roast the almond fillet carefully. Once it is ready, transfer it to the bowl with the remaining ingredients and continue mixing.

In the same bowl, pour the crushed leaves in portions and mix with a spatula to homogenize the mixture.

Butter a rectangular oven pan measuring 34x25 cm, where we empty the orange pie mixture, bake it in a preheated oven at 160 Β° C in the air for 40-45 minutes and once it is ready, remove the pan from the oven and set it aside. so that the orange pie cools down.

For the syrup: Put a saucepan on medium to low heat, where we add the water, sugar, cinnamon stick and orange juice, which we had left aside earlier. Boil for 1-2 minutes, until the syrup sets.

Composition: With a knife, lightly pierce the surface of the orange pie, so that it syrups better. Then pour the hot syrup over the cold orange pie.

Finally, cut into pieces and serve with ice cream.
