Good morning my friends, fast and furious cheese pie today for everyone, join me ;) Let’s do it easy and fast together
Ingredients
200g strained yogurt (1 cup)
- 140g flour (1/2 cup), for all uses
- 1kg baking powder
- 170gr. melted margarine or butter
- 400gr. slice
- 200gr. grated yellow cheese (we recommend gruyere or regatta)
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 pinch of nutmeg
- pepper
Preparation
While we are preparing the mixture, we have turned on the whole oven and preheat it to 200 degrees.
Put the flour and the baking powder in a large bowl and mix.
Add the milk, stirring with a whisk (egg yolk).
Add the yogurt, eggs and margarine. Mix very well with a spoon first, and then with the whisk until they become a uniform mixture.
Then add the yellow cheese and stir to incorporate it as well.
Add the feta cheese broken into chunks and mix carefully with a spoon. We do not want to break it up into tiny pieces, so we "fold" the feta into the mixture, as we would with a meringue.
Add the nutmeg and pepper.
In a round fireproof dish (21 x 18 cm or equivalent area), spread a little margarine, and pour our mixture.
Bake at 180 degrees on the middle grill until golden brown, about 45 ′
Check with a knife if it is cooked: Put the knife in the pie and if it comes out clean, without the mixture sticking to it, it is ready.
tips
1. Do not add salt to this, as the feta is quite salty, as is the gruyere.
2. Served as breakfast (room temperature or hot).
