Good morning my friends with a classic Sunday meal that everyone loves
Let’s do it together
Ingredients
250 gr. ground beef
250 gr. minced pork
140 gr. bread, crumbled
110 gr. onion, finely chopped
2 eggs, medium
1 bunch of parsley, finely chopped
1 medium tomato, grated
7 fresh mint leaves, finely chopped
Salt
Pepper
Olive oil
For serving:
Fries
1 tomato, finely chopped
2 tbsp. mint, finely chopped
Oregano, dry
Preparation
Place a pan on high heat and pour 1 tablespoon olive oil. After it heats up well, add the onion and sauté it until it shines and becomes slightly transparent.
Then remove the pan from the heat and set aside to cool.
Then, in a bowl, put the minced meat, bread, onion, parsley, tomato, a little olive oil, mint, salt and pepper and mix with your hands wearing a disposable glove.
Then add the eggs and mix again
Then, we take a small amount of minced meat and shape it into a round shape so that it looks like a small ball and throw it in a deep dish that we have put flour.
Shake the dish slightly so that it is covered all around with flour. Then, we catch the meatball with our hands, and after we shake it well to remove the unnecessary flour, we place it in a pan that we have coated with oil paste. Follow the same procedure for the entire amount of minced meat.
Place a pan over medium heat, add olive oil and let it heat up.
After it heats up well, add the meatballs and fry them for 2-3 minutes on each side, until they get a dark color. Frying the potatoes until they acquire a nice golden color. Once they are ready, remove the meatballs with the help of a slotted spoon on a plate, lined with absorbent paper.
At the same time, in a bowl, empty the chopped tomato, the parsley, a little olive oil, season with salt and pepper, mix with a spoon and set aside.
Finally, we serve the meatballs together with french fries, the salad we made and a little oregano.
Stay safe and healthy my friends and take care of your people
My best wishes from Greece
