Happy Sunday my friends with a lovely frybread with traditional Greek cheese feta Let’s do this together as always

Ingredients

300 grams. hard flour (or for all uses)
1/2 tbsp. yeast
2 pinches of salt
200 grams. lukewarm water

For the filling

Feta cheese

For frying

olive oil

For serving

thyme honey

Preparation

For traditional fried bread with feta,
Put the flour, the yeast for the fried bread with feta in a bowl and mix them with a spoon.
Dissolve the salt in the water and add it to the flour.
With a spoon, mix the ingredients to form an irregular dough.
Take out the wet dough on the counter and knead it for a few minutes until it becomes smooth and again if necessary add a little flour.
Put the dough in an oiled bowl, cover it and leave it at room temperature for about 1 hour, until it swells.
We cut the dough into six or eight pieces, depending on how big we want to make the fried bread.
On a floured surface and whenever necessary sprinkling flour, open the dough into a thick sheet.
Put in feta chips, close the edges of the dough in the center and with the rolling pin press it to open into a thin sheet.
Prepare the rest of the fried bread in the same way.

Put a little oil in the pan and as soon as it burns, fry the fried bread on both thin sides for 2 to 3 minutes, until golden brown.
Put the fried bread on absorbent paper to drain the excess oil.

Hope you enjoy this

Stay safe and healthy my friends and take care of your people

My best wishes from Greece
