Good morning my friends and happy Sunday with nice handmade orange cookies ;)
Let’s create some magic together

Ingredients

1 cup seed oil
1 cup sugar
1 cup fresh orange juice
1 shot of brandy
zest of 2 large oranges
zest of 1 lemon
1 tbsp. soda
2 tbsp. baking powder
2 doses of vanilla powder
soft flour (about 1 kg - as needed to have a soft dough that can be molded without sticking to the hands)

Preparation

Beat the oil with the sugar very well, add the orange juice, the brandy, the vanilla and the orange and lemon zest.
2. Mix the flour with the baking powder and baking soda and add them to the liquid mixture.
Knead until a soft and smooth dough is created.
4. We shape our cookies into small braids and place them in a pan.
5. Bake in a preheated oven at 170? C for about 10-12 minutes (depending on how big you make them). When they turn brown, they are ready!

Tips:
1. They are nice cookies for Easter too!
2. Do not shape them too thick because they swell.

I hope you enjoy this

Stay safe and healthy my friends and take care of your people

My best wishes from Greece
