Good morning my friends and happy week, let’s create today one of my favorite foods , really really tasty

Ingredients

800 g ground beef or mixed with pork
(once passed through the mincer)
3 slices of stale bread
(soaked and squeezed)
2 large onions
grated on the grater
1 ripe tight tomato
(grated on a grater)
1/3 cup wine vinegar
1 egg
1 tbsp. oregano
1 tbsp. Fresh chopped basil
1 tbsp. fresh chopped mint
1 tbsp. chopped parsley
salt
freshly ground pepper
olive oil for frying
breading flour

Preparation

For the fluffiest fried meatballs, first spread the minced meat in a bowl and pour the vinegar over it. Make a hole in the middle and add all the ingredients: bread, onions (with their liquids), egg, herbs and salt and pepper.

Knead the mixture to combine well. Cover and leave in the fridge for 30΄. This way the minced meat will be flavored and the meatballs will be perfect. We shape large meatballs and flatten them with our palms. Then we grind them and shake them lightly.

Meanwhile, heat olive oil (enough to cover half the meatballs when fried) in a wide pan and fry for 3΄ on each side. Leave the meatballs on absorbent paper to drain. (If you have fried meatballs left, the next day make a simple tomato sauce and after it boils for 10΄, bring the meatballs to a boil).

Stay safe and healthy my friends and take care of your people

My best wishes from Greece
