Foodbook #667 beef stew with read sauce and potatoes

Good morning my friends, one of my favorite foods for a great week start , let’s do it together

Ingredients


1 kg beef in portions
3 ripe tomatoes, finely chopped
1 tablespoon pulp melted in a little water
1 large onion, finely chopped
1 grated or chopped carrot
2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
50 g wine (white or red)
1 cinnamon stick
Salt
Pepper
Sweet paprika
Olive oil
200 g of water
5 medium potatoes cut into 4

 


Preparation


Wash the meat well and put it in a colander to drain.
Heat the oil in a saucepan, and sauté the meat on all sides.
When we sauté it, take it out and put it in a bowl.
Saute the onion, carrot and garlic in the same oil, pour the meat back into the pot, and quench it with the wine.
Then add the water, salt, cinnamon stick, pulp and tomatoes, and cover the pot.
Bring to a boil over medium heat for about 1-2 1/2 hours until the meat is tender.
Meanwhile, peel the potatoes, and cut them into 4.
When an hour has passed and the meat has softened, add the potatoes and cook them all together for about 30 minutes until the potatoes are soft.
If you need water, add our sauce.
Five minutes before we turn off our food we add the pepper and the paprika to keep their aromas.
