Good morning my friends and happy week, one of my favorite traditional Greece desserts for today , let’s do it together and I hope you will try it


1 flitz. teaspoon sunflower oil or corn oil (not full)
2 flitz. teaspoon or corn flour
3 fl. teaspoon sugar
4 fl. of tea water
200 gr. Whole almonds without peel
1 flitz. teaspoon sugar (for candy)


Roast the almonds in the oven or in a pan, stirring constantly until they get a nice color.
Prepare the candy. Put a cup of sugar in a saucepan over medium to high heat, stirring constantly until the sugar has melted and taken on a dark color.
Meanwhile, mix the oil, fat, sugar and water well in a bowl with a whisk until smooth.
Once the caramel is ready, pour the mixture with the fat in the pot and stir constantly until it thickens and the liquids are absorbed.
Add the roasted almonds and stir.
Pour the halva in a pyrex or baking tray (about 28 cm) and burn the surface with a stove. Alternatively, turn on the oven on the grill and bake on the upper grill until it forms the crust you want.
