Foodbook #566 Tomato chicken stew

Good morning my friends, happy Sunday. I had a lot of time to create some chicken so I decide to cook it today with delicious spicy tomato sauce and of course French fries , let’s do it together

2 chicken legs
1 large onion
1 can of tomatoes
0.5 glass of wine wine of your choice
2 cloves garlic
2 bay leaves
2 cloves or grated clove (on the tip of a spoon)
2 spices
a little olive oil

Finely chop the onion and sauté it lightly in a little oil (about 3 tablespoons), over medium heat.
Add the washed and peeled chicken (it can also be lean, just the meat that is close to the bone is softer), and let it brown a bit.
Quench with the wine, immediately lower the heat and leave for a minute.
Add the tomato and water just enough to cover the chicken.
Add the garlic, the bay leaf, the cloves, the spices and the salt, cover and let it boil for about 3/4 until the chicken is almost melted (it comes off the bone in places).
Uncover the pot, increase the heat a little and let the sauce thicken for 1 to 2 minutes.
That’s all ready to serve

Stay safe and healthy my friends and take care of your people

My best wishes from Greece
