Good morning my friends, let’s create something tasty and different today that I believe you will love it

Ingredients

2 rustic sausages with leeks

400 gr. crushed tomato

360 ml of water from the giants

300 gr. Lima beans

120 ml olive oil

20 gr. celery

2 tbsp. tomato paste

2 onions,

2 Florin peppers

Smoked paprika

Oregano

Salt

Pepper

Preparation

1
Put the giants in a large bowl of cold water and let them soak for 24 hours.

2
The next day we drain them, rinse them well and throw them in a large pot with boiling water. Leave on high heat and boil for 1 hour and 30 minutes, until soft.
3
At the same time, place a pan on medium heat and let it heat up.
4
Next, cut the onions into small pieces and the peppers into thin vertical slices (removing their spores). Once the pan is burnt, add a little olive oil and vegetables and sauté until soft.
5
Immediately after, pour the tomato paste, the paprika and the oregano in the pan and mix.
6
Then, cut the sausage into oblique vertical slices and throw it in the pan together with the crushed tomatoes, season with salt and pepper and stir. Once the sauce is ready, pour it into a bowl and set aside.
7
Then, drain the giants holding a little water and throw them in a fireproof dish 27x20cm. Pour the sauce on top and stir.
8
Then, finely chop the celery and throw it in the pan. Pour in the water, season with salt and pepper and stir again.
9
Cover the pan with a foil and bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° C in the air for 60-90 minutes, until the giants soften well and have a nice honeyed sauce.
10
Once it is ready, serve.

Stay safe and healthy my friends and take care of your people

My best wishes from Greece
