1 1/2 Octopus fresh or frozen

1 Large dried onion cut into half slices

2 Garlic cloves chopped

1 Lemon zest

1 1/2 Lemon their juice

4 tbsp Olive oil

1 glass of white wine

Salt Pepper


Wash and clean the octopus. Put it in a saucepan to boil over medium heat without water for about 10 minutes. Take it out and leave it in a colander to cool. Keep a glass of water from the juice created in the pot.

Cut the onion into half slices and finely chop the garlic. Cut the octopus into large pieces. Fry in a saucepan, over medium heat, the onion with the garlic lightly and add the octopus pieces. Continue sautéing for another 3-4 minutes and quench with white wine.

After the wine has evaporated, add the juice we kept and fill with enough water to cover the octopus and lower the heat. Bring to a boil and soften. When it is ready, add the zest and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper and let it boil for another 10 minutes. It is ready to serve.
