Ingredients for the dough

400 gr. flour for all uses
1 tbsp. baking powder
200 gr. white sugar
¼ κ.γ. salt
1 tbsp. vanilla extract
220 gr. cow butter, cold, diced
1 egg

Filling ingredients

juice of 1 lemon
2 tbsp. corn flour
100 gr. Brown sugar
1 tbsp. cinnamon
4 apples, thinly sliced

Preparation

1) Prepare the dough. In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.

2) Add the vanilla extract, the butter scattered in the mixture and the egg and mix with a fork and then with your hands, until a crumbly (crumbly) dough is formed.

3) Prepare the filling. Mix the lemon juice with the corn flour and add it to the apples together with the sugar and cinnamon.

4) Stir gently to be evenly covered by the mixture.

5) Press half of the dough evenly in a pan covered with oil paste.

6) Spread the filling evenly on the dough in the pan. Sprinkle with the rest of the grated dough the entire surface of the filling.

7) Bake the apple pie at 190 ° C in the air, for about 50-60 minutes, until the dough is golden.

8) Let the apple pie cool for at least 1 hour before cutting it.
