Good morning my friends, weekend is coming, how about creating something different and delicious??? How about try creating a calzone??? Let’s do it together


For the dough:

600 gr. flour, hard

1 tbsp. granulated sugar

5 gr. yeast, dry

2 tbsp. salt

360 ml of water

2 tbsp. olive oil


For the filling:

400 gr. ready tomato sauce

15 slices of bacon

15 slices of ham

150-200 gr. mushrooms cut into thin vertical slices

2-3 green peppers cut into thin slices

1 tbsp. dried oregano

400 gr. gouda cheese, grated


For the pizza dough: In a bowl add the yeast, sugar, water, mix with a spoon and let the mixture rise for 5 minutes.

Then, in the mixer bucket, mix the flour, the oil, the salt with the hook on a medium to high speed for 1-2 minutes.
Then, pour into the bucket and the yeast mixture and knead until it becomes a soft and homogeneous dough.
Then transfer the dough to an oiled bowl, cover it with a transparent film and let it rise for one and a half hours.
When it rises, divide the dough into 4, flour our workbench and with the help of a rolling pin open each dough in a round shape with a diameter of 30cm.
Composition: Divide the cheese in the center of each calzone, put a little tomato sauce, oregano, cold cuts, mushrooms and peppers on top.
Immediately after, spread a little water on the edges of the dough and cover with the other side of the dough to form a crescent.
Close the ends well inwards first and follow the same procedure for the other tights.
Then, preheat the oven to 200 ° C in air, spread a greased pan on an oven tray and place the calzone on top and bake for 20-25 minutes.
Once they are ready, serve the calzones hot.
