Delhi and Agra

I had the privelege of traveling to Delhi and Agra in India this month. I was doubly lucky in that there was also a bit of time to enjoy some sites. Here are some of the things we did, and would recommend:

Taj Mahal - A Marble Mausaleum built by the emperor for his second wife

Swaminarayan Akshardham - Spiritual and cultural Mandir dedicated to devotion, learning and harmony

Gurudwara Bangla Sahib - a Sikh temple in the middle of New Delhi

The Red Fort

A rickshaw ride

A tuk-tuk ride

Dilli Haat Market

All the food (except fresh vegetables, it's safer to stick to cooked food)

Here are some pictures from my trip:

Overall, India is a beautiful and fascinating country. It is a mix of ancient and modern, poor and rich, happiness and suffering, but 100% filled with hope for the future.
