Autumn rains have started already and sometimes it rains for a week in a row nonstop. Even though I love the rain so much and it always has been a dream of me to reside in a rainy city, sometimes these long rains make you crazy, especially if going out is important for you. I have always known that rain is a double blade but is so the nature of this world.
That is why I have promised myself from the beginning that I will not let the rainy days stop me.
"in the rain walk is a must!," says a famous Iranian poet, and this phrase has now become a very popular proverb in Iran.
That's why, even though I knew it was going to continue to rain, I did not give up on this bike ride and encouraged some of my crazy friends to join us. On the way to Saragah Lake, (Gilan province, Iran) a muddy and bumpy road was waiting for us.
But there was no escape and we had to cross this road to reach our destination.
I enjoyed that day more than any other day, even though it was the dirtiest day. Our bicycles, clothing, cycling helmets, and even our faces got muddy. As I was downhills, my bicycle tripped over a deep hole and muddy water sprinkled all over!
When I was going downhill, I could have pushed the brake and go down at a slower speed so that less mud would splash on my clothes, but what good is it … the fun of going downhill is to go as fast as possible … so…
