When you come to the conclusion that every day you wake up, you are going to face a new adventure, then waking up becomes a new venture. And life becomes the scene of a glorious journey.

Sometimes, it is difficult to go there while life is so hard, boring and repetitive, but if your heart seeks adventure, you will definitely find a way, even if you have to imagine it.

I remember when I was a kid, I had the same adventurous heart, but I had the dullest and one of the most routine lives for a tomboy!

My life was seriously boring, and as a lonely teenage girl who was not allowed to have any friends because of the closed religious society, only exciting books took me from that colorless world to a thrilling one.

I would read books and imagine a different life for myself. When I was at school, the kids used to play in the schoolyard on break time and I would stand in a corner of the yard and just imagine another universe. When the bell would ring, the screaming children would run toward the classrooms, and I was still in my dreams. I would stand there thinking the classrooms are like cabins of a train that has just arrived, and I had to jump into the train from the schoolyard forest to make the journey we were about to have. 

I always thought it was my defense mechanism against whatever was annoying me back then, which was mostly  the boring life I was stuck in, but now I think it was also wishful thinking, and I’m still waiting for another journey ahead …
