When I browse through my photo album, it is as if I am flipping through my album of memories.
Each image has a special meaning for me. Sometimes you see a picture and suddenly thousands of emotional and pleasant memories invade your heart. Every photo brings back a different sense, sound, or even smell.
Like the photos of a simple but crowded celebration that we took in nature on the anniversary of the launching our cycling group.

They spread a long disposable tablecloth on the ground and we all sat together, next to each other, shoulder to shoulder, all joyful and full of energy, not knowing one day will come that all these gatherings become unhealthy and forbidden. What a fun day. I think to myself, now in the age of COVID19, that people have to be apart, such memories cannot be recreated.

We did not have any celebrations this year and we all distanced ourselves.
Our bodies may be distanced, but that does not mean our hearts are separated.
When I see these photos, many faces bring an involuntary smile. I do not see many of them these days. Maybe they refuse to come in the fear of COVID19 or other reasons, but I'm sure we will all be together again soon.
