I logged onto the virtual Play To Earn Game Festival the other day. It loaded up smoothly into my browser and I was able to walk around the Minecraft looking world.
It was fun exploring, and interacting with objects. I found a TV on the wall, and when clicked a crisp video of one of the main Gala Games people appeared and he began talking. I walked away and he continued talking in the background.
I then began exploring the different levels of the building I was in. On the second floor were arcade games. I was able to click on different games and see presentations on various blockchain games that were either currently available or in development. Unfortunately, each presentation continued talking over the next one and soon it was a cacophony of noise. It became unbearable and I couldn’t really learn anything this way so I logged off. I am not sure if that is a bug, my system, or what.
I did take note of a few games to check out some time. All in all, the fact there were so many companies and games represented is very exciting to me! I am really looking forward to the future of blockchain based games! I hope their next festival is a bit less buggy so I can explore longer. I look forward to all the exciting games these groups have planned.
