If you have followed my stories over the past couple of years, you might be in for a treat this week.

I have written extensively about play-and-earn games in the past and one of my favorite games is Gods Unchained, a trading card game similar to Magic The Gathering.

How do I get the free money?

Since Gods Unchained runs on StarkEx, everyone who has played the game before June 1st 2022 is available for the $STRK airdrop that went live yesterday.

If you are eligible for the airdrop from playing Gods Unchained, you will receive 111.1 $STRK. At the moment, these are worth roughly 222$.

To claim the airdrop, go to provisions.starknet.io and follow the instructions there. Also, you will need a Starknet wallet; I use ArgentX but you can also use Bravoos.

What other airdrops should I look out for?

Some of the most significant airdrops that happened or are rumored are layer 2 scaling solutions for Ethereum.

Layer 2 solutions are protocols or frameworks built on top of the Ethereum blockchain that aim to improve its scalability and efficiency by processing transactions off-chain or in a way that reduces the burden on the main Ethereum network. These solutions allow for faster transaction processing times and lower fees compared to executing transactions directly on the Ethereum mainnet.

Next to Starknet, one of the most hotly anticipated layer 2 airdrops is the upcoming zkSync airdrop.
