I have read somewhere that we can earn cryptos with Coinbase so I decided to set up an account.

So I opened the site, clicked on Register and completed the registration process, they asked for the email verification and even demanded the phone number to verify the account.

After completing the verification process, a new page appeared and asked if I would like to transfer crypto from another wallet or place, I skipped for now. 

I did not even download the app. 

In the next page, I read a sentence:

"Earn free crypto with Coinbase Earn". 

So I got curious and decided to click the button after I discover the page. 

In this page there was also a default list of my portfolio which have a zero value currently. 

In the right corner there was a blue button to click. When clicked, a menu of five options appears: Buy, sell, convert, send and receive. 

By mistake I clicked on Bitcoin BTC and I was surprised to read in the next page this sentence:

"Bitcoin is not tradeable im your region" with a golden filled star. 

So I tried another coin BCH and the others to see if it is the same situation, I found the same sentence with a hallow star, I guess ot means they are tradeable, so I guess only BTC is not allowed for a reason. 🤔

Turning back to the button that says "Earn crypto", I clicked it, I was directed to another page. Scrolling down I was able to identify some title words, they were the names of the coins, there was for example Tezos, DAI, BAT, EOS, XLM and other names I never heard of like Celo Gold, in this coin square it was written that I am on the waiting list, all other coins were finished so the only coin I can earn is Celo Gold with the amount of 6$ value. 

So I will wait to see if I am going to be able to earn them. 

Scrolling down more, there was written how the site works and how to earn. 

I need to watch the videos, complete the quiz and earn the coins. (In my case my only choice is Celo Gold). 

Maybe with time the other coins will be available again, we will see 😉

My next step will be studying these coins by seeing the existing videos to gain more info.
