A jovial prelude on the hymn tune "Was Gott tut, das ist wohlgetan", for manuals alone, in which a falling bassline in sixteenth notes undergirds the ornamented and harmonized cantus firmus. The prelude concludes with a brief virtuosic climax in a celebratory manner.
