Nostalgia for a song means a fascinating and not quite normal feeling that we get when we listen to old music as we used to listen to in our youth and now listening to them again reminds us of the sweet memories of the passions and rawness of our youth, without knowing.
I did not listen to many songs as a child or a teenager because listening to music was not common in our religious family. But during college, when I was away from family and with friends, listening to music was the most enjoyable hobby in the world.

The song “Panjereh (Window)” is a good example of those nostalgic songs of the past with a heavy load of memories on its shoulders, from millions of youth of our generation in Iran.
I will never forget that this was a love song for all of us.
I would listen to it over and over again. Maybe it was because I love the rain and we spent a lot of time sitting behind the window ...
Song: Panjereh (Window)
Singer: Siavash Ghomayshi
Lyrics
When the rain hits the glass, near sunset
All the sorrows of the world are in my heart
In the raindrops, I’ll choke with my tears
Then, I don’t want anything but a window!

I’ll sit behind this window and sing
And I’ll wait for you to arrive in the rain
Expecting your arrival in the rain
Has a different feeling
As if I’m more in love when it rains!

Sometimes you just come
And you put your head on my shoulders
And then all at once
You take all pains off my chest
But this is just a dream
The “behind the window dream”!
And when I wake up
Grief sits in my throat again
