The song Afsaneh (means Legend), taken from the album (legend of your eyes), is based on a poem of Nima Yoshij, "the father of new poetry in Iran".
Nima Yoshij was the first to do new poetry in Iran. Before him, the poems without some sort of special rhyming were not considered poetry. He established this style of poetry in Iran and after him, many poets wrote in this style of poetry.
Nimai's poems are full of mystery and wonder, related to nature, the earth, and using natural elements.
This poem makes a different feeling in you. It raises you to the top and brings you down at once. Singers both sing at the high range of their voices all the way, but the meaning of the rise and fall of poetry bewilder and transforms you.

Lyrics
You are my story, O legend!
You are my aching heart, fallen in love!
The heavy-hearted and lost one!
The one remained so neglected and nameless!
I remember a moonlit night
A cold wind blew over the mountain
And told me: O sad child!
Why did you leave home indeed?
O legend! You are that cold wind!
O nameless! Who are you that always has been with me!?
With this poor thing!
O legend! Say something! answer me!
O heartbroken! Stop asking questions!
I believed your drunken grief!
Darling! you know me!
I am a displaced one in heavens
Lost in time and space!
Whatever I am, I’m on the lovers' side!
I am an ancient being
I’m on helpless and trapped one’s side
I’m a story!
Are you a story?
Yes!, yes!
The story of a restless lover!
I am a love story full of fright
Born of the anxiety of my world!
O lover!
O legend!
