She recorded videos from her car, stating that she “had been told by authorities to delete her account and stop her rapping and activates asap otherwise there going to be consciences”

She said that she would "stand with my people for the rest of my life" and reject restrictions on "living freely," even if framed as religious law. After her refusal, Iran's cyber police (FATA) blocked her page. Some reports and social media accounts claimed she subsequently disappeared or was abducted by the IRGC, though mainstream sources primarily confirm the account shutdown and pressure.

Rejina Rap

I’m not very familiar with these young women, considering I’m not very into Rap, especially these things that Gen Z listen to these days (wow! I felt so old just mentioning that!) Any way, Rejina Rap is another young woman rapper who sat in her car yesterday and said the same stuff about her page!

Her sitting in her car and saying the same things was a real Deja vu! Just pointing out that the same thing may happen to her tomorrow.

Gen Z youth, including young girls, rapping in public:

Young Iranians, especially teenagers, defied rules by rapping and dancing in parks without hijab or gender segregation. In one incident, a group of 14 teenagers (boys and girls) in Tehran scattered when police arrived during a performance; some faced detention. This reflects wider Gen Z rebellion, with girls posting hijab-free videos and performing rap criticizing the regime. Authorities view such acts as a major challenge.

(I'm just gonna come out and say it, what's with these young rappers and sitting in their cars! :) ANyway, I hope nothing bad happens to them, there are too young to feel the pain we felt in our days and they have so much passion and talent)

Authorities blocked Instagram pages of several young women for "criminal content," such as solo performances, this included Niousha Mofidi. Niousha Mofidi wasn’t a rapper.

Niousha was sitting in the front row of a male singer's performance and in the middle of the concert, she started singing. She held her phone in front of her face and started singing loudly without a microphone in the front row. The male singer respected her voice and asked the audience to be silent so that her beautiful voice could be heard. The video of this incident went viral and as the result, Iran's Moral Security Police blocked Niousha’s page.

Now here is the bitter twist of the story!

When Women are repressing like that because they're rapping, Men rappers are creating a hellish situation, making us hard to love the ever again! A TV show called "Gang" started , aimed to introduce and legitimize Persian rap music by featuring underground rappers and showcasing the "rap family." The music-talk program was hosted and produced by Ali Zia (a former state TV presenter which is one of those"Interrogator/ reporter").

 The first episode (December 2025) featured popular rapper Mohammad Reza Shaye', with others like Mahyar, Gigi, and Dorchi planned for later episodes.However, it sparked major controversy. The rap community and fans accused participating rappers of "betraying" the underground, protest-oriented spirit of rap by appearing on an official platform. Many saw it as enabling easier suppression of non-official artists.
