We're hosting a contest granting a chance to win powerful development cards for your Mortegard kingdom: All you have to do is build your kingdom in the client on Polygon Mainnet, and then submit a photo of your empire in all its glory to our Discord!

Mortegard is a fantasy world simulator heavily inspired by retro fantasy games, and offers a unique spin on classic fantasy tropes. In the kingdom building client, players own castles and their surrounding land, and develop their kingdoms by investing tokenized resources into the creation of development cards. These tokenized resources can also be pledged to Story Events for the potential to earn more powerful upgrades, or sold/traded in UniSwap LPs.

To submit your entry to the competition, head over to our Discord and post an image of your kingdom in the contest-submissions channel.

Winners will get to choose one of the 4 development cards:

Proving Grounds
Emberheart Hollows
Arcanite Shrine

Submissions are open to everybody: no matter how big or small your empire is at this stage, you are encouraged to enter!

3 winners will be chosen: The first winner will be the poster with the most overall reactions on their submission, and the other two will be chosen at random out of all other submissions

Only one submission per discord member is permitted, though you are welcome to change up your kingdom and image submission as many times as you like.

This competition will run a little over a week and will close on the 16th of March at 8pm EST. Winners will be announced and contacted shortly after to claim the prize of their choice. So jump on Discord and submit your entry.

We also recommend you hold on to your kingdom images as we'll be holding a 'progress' contest next, so you can show off the evolution of your kingdom!
