MENTAL CELIBACY GIVES ME PEACE

It’s been over six months of celibacy, and 90 days of abstinence from porn and masturbation, among other vices. 

I work as a doorman in New York City. There are more women than men living in the apartment I work at. Actually there are more women in general in this city. 

Temptation is everywhere. 

It’s part of my perfectionist personality trait, but I feel that I have to look good for my job. I’m the face of the building. But recently, for spiritual cleansing I shaved my head and face, also wanting the added benefit of temporarily becoming less attractive, for spiritual reasons as well. 

Instead, I was flooded with complements and attention. Maybe this is the magnetism many men report occurs on unbroken streaks of seed retention.

But I’m not doing it for any of that. 

Lately, I’ve been working out less, but meditating and stretching more. No rush to get a six-pack when I’m not planning to have sex with anyone. 

Even though I’m in love. 

I’m beautiful right now. 

Why make it ugly? 

I’m still caring for my health. Consistent on my diet. 

On Day 72, I quit coffee. 

It’s refinement for refinement’s sake. 

Mental Celibacy gives me peace. 

It’s being out of the rat race of relationships, and sexual competition. No more researching about what women want, or what’s the right thing to do, wear, or say. No more competing against other men for a mate. 

It’s just me, being Beautiful for beauty’s sake, and bothering no one. 

Like sand, you will lose it if you try and grasp at this world.

The Beautiful Ones Rehab Podcast

It's named after “The Beautiful Ones”, that infamous group of mice that marked the end of John B. Calhoun’s mouse utopia experiment. I explain the experiment in Chapter 1 (preview available!), but to make a summary here, the mouse utopia experiment consisted of a few pairs of mice placed in a “perfect” environment without disease, hunger, or predators, which obviously led to substantial population growth up which began to decline with the vast majority of mice displaying extremely violent and anti-social behaviors until nothing was left but socially withdrawn, pacifist, and celibate mice called The Beautiful Ones. Essentially, the meek inherited the Earth. 

People have equated MGTOW, Herbivore Men and Hikikomori as Beautiful Ones, and so the title of my book is “Ballad of a Beautiful One” as it is also my personal relationship to the phenomenon.

It's called the "Rehab Podcast" as friends, family members and society at-large would obviously like all of us unpartnered souls to return to dating, marrying, and reproducing, thus it's in a joking manner that there's a rehab program for us to re-integrate to society.

But it's not a joke in Japan at Hito Refresh Camp, a rural recovery home for Hikikomori who can come, go, and participate in activities as they please.

The podcast will observe a variety of social-withdrawal behaviors, and the general trending throughout the world of declining populations.

We will use some of the chapters of my book to jumpstart the topics. As a MGTOW, total rehab isn't likely, nor is it desired, but my book describes how my unusual upbringing and the current western social environment (and according to Nikola Tesla's prediction, it's been happening for over 100 years) contributed to my status as a Beautiful One.

I think the "Beautiful" condition is a valid defense mechanism for not just one's self, but for potential future offspring as well. Mice that were already "beautiful" did not revert their behavior to factory settings once placed into a new pristine environment with healthy females, perhaps because instinctively they knew they were still in an experimental setting and their genetic lineage was already pre-written in the Death Note.

If I had known during my youth that I could have always escaped this environment and moved to much healthier, traditional cultures abroad, I perhaps would have never exercised steeling my mind and spirit so hard into disengaging from society and the material plane.

Is it too late for me? Is it too late for you?

Those are the answers this podcast is setting out to discover.

Although it may seem that these are heavy topics to discuss, I personally see it is an adventure.

Everyone says that the world is ending. Well, let's stand by and watch it all spill off the edge in real-time. Just like Christopher Columbus sailing to the "edge of the Earth", and instead discovering an entirely "New World."
