If you are a member of this website, or generally like crypto, you must have heard of the Brave Browser. It's the privacy browser that pays you Basic Attention Token (BAT) to look at privacy-respecting ads and blocks ads and trackers on all websites.
Some of you may, however, have heard about a browser called CryptoTab. If you decide to look it online, you will mostly find their website and many, many posts trying to get you to click on their link that says something along the lines of "Make $1000 a day with this browser" and others.
Today I want to make a clear post that explains everything you may need to know about the CryptoTab Browser, and at the end of this post, you might learn some more things that those clickbait posts don't tell you.

What is the CryptoTab Browser?
The CryptoTab Browser is what is says to be: a browser. It looks like an exact clone of Google Chrome and functions the same way, so new users will get used to it easier. The difference between this browser and Google Chrome, however, is that this browser comes with a built-in algorithm that mines Bitcoin using the user's laptop.
The cool thing about the browser is its simplicity and ease of use. The first time you open the browser, you will be greeted with the default Chrome start page. However, you will see a new extension next to your address bar at the top. Clicking on the extension will send you to your mining dashboard.
The interface is quite simple. You will see your earnings in big, bold numbers. In the top left, you will see a slider which adjusts the mining speed. If you have a decent computer, however, you will be able to always leave mining to the max, because the browser only uses your unused CPU, and automatically slows down to let other programs run, so you don't lose performance. As far as I know, only your CPU is used for mining, but do your research on that. Next to the slider, you will see your mining earnings and your affiliate earnings, which we will get to later on in this post. The rest of the page is pretty self-explanatory.
This sums up what this browser is. I will update this post with anything you don't understand, so make sure to comment on the post!

Who is the browser for?
If you are having doubts whether this browser is for you or not, read this. If you use the Brave browser for privacy, this browser is NOT for you. It's security is exactly like Google Chrome's. This browser is for you if:
- You want to make some crypto completely passively while browsing the web.
- Brave Ads do not work in your country/you can't use Brave Rewards.
- You want to put in some spare time to make some light (or big, depends) passive income.
Speaking of passive income, here comes the next part of this post:

The main reason to use the CryptoTab Browser
If you have tried the browser, you have seen that although your earnings are completely passive, you are making a lot less than using the Brave Browser, depending on your computer's power. I'm gonna be honest with you: if you want to mine solo, uninstall the browser and go back to Brave. It's not worth it. But, if you want to dedicate some time/money, you can get closer to what the clickbait websites say. How? Through the CryptoTab Affiliate program.
You see, CryptoTab want you to invite more users. They REALLY want you to invite more users. They want it so much, they have made one of the most expansive affiliate programs I have ever seen.
Most affiliate programs are like this: "Invite some users through your link and you'll get 10% of what they earn". Done. That's it, nothing more. With CryptoTab, you can create unlimited links, you can track link clicks, downloads, installs and active miners. More, you get access to tons of banners, landing pages, social media text and images, all of that to help you drive users. More, you get 10 levels of referral. That means you will get 15% of what your affiliates earn, 10% of what their affiliates earn, 5% of what their affiliates earn, and so on until you earn 0.0625% of what your 10th level of affiliates earn. The potential is huge! You can start small by giving your friends your link and invest the profits to get advertisements, then reinvest the profits and so on, or you can start with a big investment from the beginning.
Before you jump in and put $500 into advertisements, remember that this will take time. You might need to wait a year just to get your money back. Choose your advertisements carefully, use appropriate landing pages, banners and images and know who to advertise to. If you can do all that, you can earn a decent passive income for free!
One last thing. I know this affiliate program sounds weird, almost too good to be true. You could get scammed and earn nothing. I have seen many people withdraw and earn money from affiliates, and I can tell you it is real as of today. As always, do your own research.
