After contacting the Financial omnibusman they agreed that £50 compensation was not sufficient. They ordered Revolut to pay me compensation of £100.
It took a few months for the Financial Ombudsman to investigate my complaint. But, I was pleased with the result. Hopefully they will learn not to treat customers so badly.
Had they offered me £100 compensation in the first place I would not have taken the complaint to the financial omnibusman and they would have saved £750.
I now rarely use revolut as I have lost all the trust I had with them. I am unlikely to ever trust them again.
