How did yesterday's bets perform? Would I make the same bets again, were my reads decent? Let's dive right into it!

Gane vs. Volkov:
Volkov looked incredible in his last fights. He always had the potential to be great, and it looks like he finally came into his own. Gane is a special talent at HW, but he isn't nearly as proven. He probably has the brighter future but at this moment of their careers, I'm going with Volkov @2.42/+142 (5dimes). I think the fight will play out mostly on the feet, and that Gane will lose the volume and range war there. Got a feeling it goes all 5 rounds but wouldn't bank on it, especially at these odds (@1.87 GTD).
RECAP: Hmm. Volkov did not really go for it, at all. You could argue that's what Gane does to his opponents, but I don't know. Every time Volkov started a flurry, he was landing good. But somehow he decided to back up into the fence and get into a tit for tat with Cyril Gane. Again, you could argue that Gane did that. Gane's jab looked so good, and was actually outranging Volkov. Gane was fast, and a tad more aggressive than usual, getting Volkov's respect early and mostly cruising the fight, again. Would I make the bet again after watching the fight? Probably no. Do I think Volkov could have won that if he went for it, went forward and pieced some flurries together? Hell yes!
However you can't control fighters, and you don't feel or see what they feel or see either. It's another loss in the books, let's move forward.
