And finally it has rained, clouds passed by sometimes, but it seems that they flew away right away, without even stopping for a moment.
I wake up and I hear the rain, I smell the rain, I get up and I see the rain, I open the window and I touch the rain, thousands of little drops, and if I wanted to… stick out my tongue and I could drink water. Thus, the five senses (hearing, smell, sight, touch and, well, taste) are trapped by this incessant and unexpected rain that has surprised me today, as if it were an enchantment, a different and magical sensation. A strange moment.

It seems strange because it seems that it has rained tonight, secretly, in the dark, without us noticing, but the little puddles I see when I look outside give it away, a furtive rain that we hardly expected, we were waiting for a morning like this one, one day.

Because we are used to starting a new day by squinting our eyes a little due to the intensity of the sunlight that enters through our windows, but today it was not like that. Simply a soft and dim grayish light has permeated everything, creating an atmosphere that we hardly remembered after a long summer.

Because it is still summer, yes, there are only a few days left, but the temperature is similar and the sky too, little has changed, perhaps there is now a degree less, at least a little more fresh air, this purifying air loaded with ozone that is so thanks, although in reality, even an even colder feeling wanted now this morning. So I think that we are still in summer, that this will not last long, that we must take advantage of this moment feeling all this with those five senses. Until among many other bright and warm ones, a new day like this arrives.

Because we need that fresh humidity, that the sky and the streets be cleaned, that the earth be soaked and the trees be fed, that the water run through overflowing river flows and let us hear that tinkle again on the roofs.

Because on a calm and silent Sunday morning, nothing could be heard, no one spoke outside, no car passed by on the street...nothing and no one. But the drops rang on some nearby metal roof, repetitively, with rhythm and cadence that marked the times of a relaxed breakfast.

And we continue in that hypnotic enchantment, because it smells like rain, or wet earth, the window is also wet, the drops remain on the glass, leaving a mark that all this unusual moment has been real. Because I put my hand on the white table, it's wet, water has entered, cold weird water...

Now I wake up, again, truly and I realize that I have been absorbed, thinking, or just listening to the rain fall, looking at the opaque sky and I have not done anything, except open the window and breathe deeply. What fresh air I feel on my skin! I smile and my plants are happy.

I have enjoyed the stillness and that deep silence. I have not taken photos (just one later, the table, do you remember it before?) neither of the sky, nor of the ground, nor of the window. So that? They are the same streets and windows as anyone else's, and almost the same drops...

I couldn't think much about the images, while different and old sensations were renewed today and my mind started up. Many words were going around my head like thousands of drops sliding down the wall, until they formed a puddle. Then I have written freely and all these words make up this text, improvised, strange, spontaneous and honest, with feelings and thoughts as transparent as that fine rain that woke me up this morning.
