What a change! After several weeks of rain, clouds and a lot of darkness, the gray of the sky is finally gone, surprise! and all is blue again. A bright blue only dotted with a few small white clouds. It looks more beautiful in contrast with all the flowers that are blooming right now, because we are in spring, right?
And it's sunny and it's hot, a lot, and it seems that it has come back wanting to warm us up, perhaps too strongly, because almost when we feel it on our skin it burns us. And the wind seems to have disappeared or gone away, the air barely moves, the little we feel is also hot, it's almost hard to breathe because we had forgotten that feeling, wearing few clothes, t-shirt and shorts and feeling good.
It is also a holiday, we are in Holy Week or Easter, so it is the best time for a summer time that we have received as a present. So we go quickly to the beach.
People were anxious about the inclement weather, almost like the plants we have in the window, we needed light, people throw themselves into the sea, as if it were summer, and when walking along the shore and seeing people in bathing suits, and even some bathing in water that is still somewhat cold, gives us the feeling that all this time ago remains in the memory. I look at the sea, I feel the waves that caress my legs when they arrive without force, unlike stormy days, and it looks like summer.
It's nice to feel the force of the sea as it drags the sand under my feet, the water is cold but my feet are happy. I feel the impulse to continue advancing out to sea, a wave reaches my knees and I stop, I did not think that today I could take a bath, what do I do with my clothes?
We can walk, feel the wet sand under our feet and enjoy the festive atmosphere. The colorful kites that fly in that blue sky these Easter days especially makes us smile. They fly like our dreams, let them fly!
And the remains of a religious procession that always takes place on the beach, there are a couple of beautiful red carnations in the sand that testify to that ritual passage of these holy days. The red color of these flowers stands out on the sand, nature meets nature and offers us an artistic image. Lovely.
And we wish that the day does not change, that tomorrow is the same, that we can enjoy this wonderful weekend forgetting about the month, the season and the weather... We just want to be happy and to enjoy the pleasant atmosphere, look around, breathe, feel good, get our feet wet and think again with wonder: yeah it looks like summer.
