Going for a walk is always pleasant, on a Wednesday like today for example... either through the streets of the city or along a path, by the seashore or under the trees. Because of nature it always seems more pleasant and inspiring, sometimes it is not possible to go that far, other times we have to choose because everything is in front of us, on the same path.

This is how it happens around here, on such hot days you want to go to the beach, or take a walk at sunset when you can better appreciate and feel the humid breeze that comes from the Mediterranean. And on some of these walks, we are also lucky enough to be surrounded by a multitude of flowers of different colors, which magically become part of a natural, beautiful and intense panorama. Lots of nature under the blue sky close to home. It's great.

And we arrive at a spacious esplanade where towering palm trees welcome us with open arms, from where the smell of the sea can already be perceived… the bright light intensifies that impressive blue sky.

Between large bushes we see more blue, a wide line on the horizon, it is the sea, adorned with many points of color, there are still many people who with their colorful umbrellas continue to enjoy a refreshing day at the beach, at any time now it is a pleasure be able to take a bath. What do we do, keep walking, or get closer to get our feet wet?

All the options and possibilities, this time we continue walking, tomorrow we will return with the umbrella... and more flowers accompany us at every step. Pink and white oleanders adorn the promenade to one side, as we stroll alongside, touching the leaves and petals, and photographing them…

Greener too, and a fountain that overflows with water, forming a small improvised stream enjoyed by the little birds that seem to inhabit the small trees between the hedges and bushes, you can hear them singing happily, and perhaps they are happier to have their own place where to drink and refresh. (It was difficult to take the photo since they were constantly moving being so close, so I have marked it so that you can take a good look). Can you see the small cute bird?

And surprise, we find more bushes if we keep looking, this time with a different flower “Cherry or plum tree from Natal” or also named Carissa Macrocarpa, an exotic flower that also bears fruit, and there are many! They look like small peaches or plums with a longer shape, I wonder if they can be eaten, if they are picked, if they wait to ripen, or if they are just pretty decorations, which continue to decorate our walk.

Everything around us is beautiful, even the sun still looks magnificent among some leaves...

A close walk but full of color, nature and simple wonders. A nice walk to enjoy on a Wednesday and any other time, always.
