Have you ever heard about Minereum V2 Airdrop? TO BE CLEAR, this airdrop ended in the last few weeks ago, now the participants are waiting for distribution. 

What is the airdrop?

Minereum team promises that they will airdrop genesis addresses that worth 32000 MNE (worth 320 USD that time) each to all participants. If you submit one Ethereum address, then you will receive one Minereum V2 genesis address. If you submit x Ethereum addresses, then you will receive x Minereum V2 genesis addresses. It sounds great right? That is 320 USD per address, ridiculous!

People thoughts (A super mega big scam)

1) Do not receive their 32000 MNE

2) Need to pay some fees (classic airdrop scam)

3) 320 USD is too much

People: Don't cheat me anymore! There is only one truth! Minereum is a scam!

Me: No way. Your proofs aren't bulletproof. Let's me show you the real truth!

My thought (It's NOT a scam!)

1) They are now distributing the genesis addresses. Your slide of pie is on the way! Be patient while you're waiting. 

The distribution can be divide into four steps:

• Import Minereum V2 genesis addresses to smart contract 
• Import stakeholders' addresses to smart contract (after 1st step)
• Import Minereum V1 genesis addresses' balance to smart contract (after 2nd step)
• Submit public transfers to all Minereum V2 genesis addresses (after 3rd step)

In theory, you got your balance just right after step 1. The bad thing is that etherscan doesn't really want to show as etherscan only logs the balances that are transmitted via the Transfer event. For this reason, your balance(s) will only show up on etherscan after the 4th step completed. You conclude the airdrop too early which isn't the best way to do so.

Of course, you can track their progress on the pinned message of their Telegram group or this smart contract.

2) Fees are optional! Everyone can JOIN it FREE and EARN MONEY!

There have 2 situations here:

• You pay (Your genesis address(es) will start mining Minereum token for you, then you also can sell it at a higher price to people)
• You don't pay (you only can sell your genesis address(es) with a fixed and low price)

3) Only Minereum V2 genesis address(es) will airdrop to people, but NOT THE TOKEN (MNE). Each Minereum V2 genesis address will mine 32000 MNE in total once activated. So, 32000 MNE will be the initial balance of each genesis address, but not the available balance. This means that you cannot transfer out that 32000 MNE if you have never mined them. So, 32000 MNE (approximately 320 USD at that time, 225 USD in today's price) isn't a lot.

Additional Fact

1) Minereum V2 is the second airdrop of Minereum. The first time happened back in 2017.

2) Minereum team indeed had the technology to build a self-mining mechanism for crypto which can be proved by the Minereum V1 (first airdrop)

3) Minereum V2 is an improved version with more features and allow more people to join
