The JPEG grind just got a lot more interesting after Hold My JPEGs officially kicked off. Teamed up with the legends Leaf and Frog and started grinding for a slice of the $3.2K prize pool
For anyone collecting NFTs, creating content, sweeping projects, or simply enjoying the chaos of the JPEG economy, this is your chance to climb the leaderboard and make some friends!
The event is built around daily bounties, NFT holdings, community activity, and a series of mechanics designed to keep things moving throughout the competition. It's about $QUANT and more!
You can get points for holding the token, but also for holding NFTs across several chains! You can get more to get more points, and push those rewards higher. Welcome to the royal court!
And now, the first major mechanic has arrived! The "Form the Hero's Party" even lets squads team up! If members of your allied squad complete sweeps during the period, your own team receives a 25% bonus to your points total.
So you're not only playing for your own squad anymore. Choosing the right allies could have a meaningful impact on the leaderboard. It's basically the NFT version of scratch my back abd I'll boost your leaderboard score.
There's another reason to pay attention. JPEG sweeps and holds bring 3x points! The concept is pretty straightforward! Every day, participants can complete different bounties to earn points.
Those bounties can include creating content, sweeping new projects, holding qualifying NFTs, completing specific community tasks, and obviously participating in special events
The organizers have teased a series of mechanics involving Teams, Heroes, Villains and the Final Boss, so expect the strategy to change as the event progresses. Will the Ultimate Ibiza Boss join us?
One day you might be grinding content, the next your NFT holdings could become the key to climbing the leaderboard. There are multiple ecosystems and collections involved, with points influenced by factors!
Ethereum: PEG Jokers, Lil Pudgies, Pudgy Penguins, BAYC, HVMTL, Azuki, Quirkies, Good Vibes Club, Normies, Green Acres, Mortals, GLHF and Sacred Waste.
Robinhood: Handsome Ansems, Stonkbrokers, PitBoys, Broker Punks, OnChain Hoodies, Pyopyopyo and Cash Cats.
Base: Cutie Kitties, Regenerates, Lil Bangers, Bankr Club, Book Games, Gribbits, Kemonokaki and Persona.

Strategy Matters! This is where Hold My JPEGs gets more interesting than a simple "who owns the most expensive JPEG?" leaderboard. You've got several different ways to play the game!
Make content and complete bounties, and keep qualifying assets in your wallet and collect passive points. Actively acquire NFTs and take advantage of the 3x multiplier during special mechanics
Find another squad and use the Hero's Party mechanic to generate an additional 25% bonus from their sweeps. The best strategy might not necessarily be the person with the deepest wallet.
It could be the person who understands how all the mechanics fit together. The first daily snapshot is already live and my team is on the second place. Standing ovation for the Jolly Jokers!
The competition has officially started, and the Hero's Party mechanic is only live for 48 hours. This is one of those windows where sitting on the sidelines could mean missing out on a significant points multiplier.
