The Firm Brokers collection of 5,000 unique pixel-art broker NFTs on Robinhood Chain are actually earning me a paycheck! NFTs are alive and kicking!
The collection sold out after minting on August 28, 2026, which means anyone looking to get involved now needs to acquire a broker from an existing holder.
But owning one is only the first step. These little employees don't start earning just because you bought their artwork. You need to put them to work. #
Hiring a broker requires burning 25,000 $9TO5 tokens. Once hired he begins earning a share of the hourly payroll, with the income distributed according to the broker's weight.
Where does the money come from? The salaries are funded by trading fees generated by the $9TO5 token and also NFTs trades volume!
Every buy or sell incurs a 3% fee, and 90% of that fee flows into the project's revenue pool. Of that amount, 80% is allocated to broker payroll!
The payroll split is enforced through an onchain contract, rather than simply being a percentage promised in promotional material.
Each working broker receives a share based on its weight, with unclaimed earnings accumulating until they can be automatically paid!
More trading activity can generate more fee revenue and potentially larger payouts, while quieter periods can mean smaller earnings.
The current salary menu includes assets representing stocks such as Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, Amazon, Google, Meta, Tesla, Palantir, AMD, GameStop and SpaceX, alongside USDG.
Owners can choose the assets and salary mix for each broker, with the default payout in USDG until a different option is selected. I went for USDG 100% ratio!
Someone who prefers dollar-denominated payouts can select USDG, while another holder might prefer exposure to one of the available tokenized stocks.
Tokenized assets still carry market, liquidity, and platform-related risks. Receiving a stock-linked token isn't the same thing as having a guaranteed return or risk-free investment.

The system also includes a promotion mechanic. By burning additional $9TO5, holders can permanently increase their broker's payroll weight.
The more you burn... the better the salary! Move your broker from intern to analyst or manager, and go all the way to VP and CEO for max multiplier!
The CEO-level broker receives 3.5 times the payroll weight of a standard hired broker. Promotions remain attached to the NFT if it is sold, which means the next owner inherits that upgraded earning weight.
Burning more tokens increases the broker's share of the payroll, but those tokens are permanently removed from circulation... scarcity at it's best!
Firm Brokers is also building additional mechanisms around the collection. The project has an auction house where brokers are offered for bids in $9TO5.
There are also daily Office Pool games and partner pools, where participants can enter token-denominated prize draws. Hired brokers can increase a participant's entry weight in the relevant pools.
Projects can also fund campaigns, with 90% of the budget used for daily open-market purchases of their token and distributed as additional paychecks to brokers that opt in.
Instead of relying entirely on speculation about future utility, the project has built a system where holders can inspect payroll activity, choose their payout assets, and increase their earning weight through onchain actions.
An NFT that earns a salary isn't automatically a profitable investment. There's a whole flywheel that needs to work smoothly for good profits!
The purchase price, hiring and promotion costs, $9TO5 market conditions, trading volume, tokenized asset risks, and the ability to sell the NFT all matter.
How those earnings compare with the total cost of acquiring and putting that broker to work, and how sustainable the underlying fee revenue might be?
Turning pixelated office workers into onchain employees with hourly, asset-selectable paychecks is a pretty distinctive experiment in NFT utility.
Maybe it's time we all updated our CVs. Just make sure your new boss is a pixelated broker and not another unpaid DAO internship.
For me worked well so far! I had a WL and minted two of them in the early stages than managed to grab another one on the PCFS rush!
Gone early on the secondary and bought 4 more before the market pumped! Initial investment for 7 NFTs with $55 at an entry level!

The NFT space has given us JPEGs, pixelated animals, profile pictures, promises of future utility, and enough Discord roles to fill an entire corporate department.
The Firm Brokers are designed to earn their holders hourly paychecks through an onchain revenue-sharing system.... so had to activate them!
Had seven tiny digital employees! Got some tokens to put them to work and bringing home the bacon. Finally an employee who doesn't ask for annual leave!
The real question is how much a broker can earn over time compared with the full cost of getting it into the payroll, and whether that revenue remains sustainable?
Crypto gave us play-to-earn, move-to-earn, and now apparently we've reached the stage where our NFTs need to get a 9-to-5 job.
Earned 0.0663 worth of $ETH that was swapped and $177 in USDG were sent to my wallet! Got $15 of $FRONG as extra revenue!
Spent $55 on all the NFTs and $60 to upgrade them and got double in rewards! I'm still waiting for them to make me a coffee. I expect that from an intern!
