How to correctly calculate the lifespan of projects in the Cryptoverse? You take the days, months or years and multiply by ten, as the speed of events is ten time faster. It's not a mathematically proven formula, it's just something I think is true. Just highlighting how hard it is to have a long-lasting crypto-related community, as today we celebrate Club1BCH
So many projects, protocols and cryptocurrencies didn't celebrated anniversaries, and this is why I am so proud to still be around and invite you to the Club1BCH second anniversary! Will be glamorous and extravagant!
In the last 730 days we've done a lot, we raised money for charity, we helped those hit my natural disasters, we helped each others, we grew and expanded.
The biggest achievement remains the #SaveTheChildren campaign, when we raised over $3000 with the help of Bityard, the SuperUMAns, and the BCH community! The amount was raised little by little, and a big bag Bitcoin Cash was collected in the multi-sig wallet and $2,500 worth of BCH were sent to The Giving Block.
We sent 6.658 $BCH ($2,250), plus $300 worth of ETH, Shiba from Bityard and 15 UMA to make it past $3000. Blockchain solutions are the future of day to day life and I got inspired to do more charity events, alone or with the group!
Charity shares where introduced in the Fantasy Competitions, and a slice of the pot will be directed to those in needs. The Club1BCH World Cup Fantasy Tournament prize pool was 0.56 BCH, shared between the top 4 managers and 10% to charity. The @Empress and Konra Kingdom offered to sponsor the event with SmartBCH tokens.
All Hail Japi! He leaded the competition from day one and showed why he is one of the best managers in every single Fantasy Football Competition I am organizing. HappyBoy did amazing, finishing runner-up, with only 24 points less then the winner. I finished on the third place, while FreeAgentz grabbed the 4th place.
Japi won 0.225 BCH, 5 KONRA and 30 LAW, and @HappyBoy won 0.168 BCH, 200 Rastjn and 20 LAW as the runner-up of the Fantasy League, while my share for finishing third was 0.085 BCH, 100 Rastjn and 10 LAW. Free Agents won 0.028 BCH for finishing forth.
The 10% share for charity went to eatBCH, a wonderful charity I discovered recently. I sent 0.06 BCH and I know this small amount will make a huge difference for some underprivilege people.
eatBCH is not a typical charity. We simply provide food to people that prepare and deliver meals to their community. Kind of like when a neighbor knocks on your door to share a freshly baked slice of apple pie.
