Let’s continue our traveling with the beautiful village of Eguisheim, France!

Situated right next to Colmar, Eguisheim is a village with absolutely breathtaking architecture and exquisite wine!

The street of this village are quite narrow and you can only visit it by walking. Making is really nice for a little walk around a medieval village. Most houses are really old and well preserved.

The village in itself is built « medieval style », in a circle so the poorest would be at the extremities of the circle while the richest would be in the middle.

Eguisheim is also the hometown of a pope, Leo IX and to this day, a beautiful church sit in the middle of it in glory to him.

There are also quite a lot of Stork all around the city, making it even more magical!

In 2012, Eguisheim was elected « the most beautiful village of France » and for a good reason! Eguisheim is overall really beautiful, full of small shops and narrow streets where you can find beauty at every corner!
